How to read QC photos
A catalogue thumbnail is an advertisement. The photos that matter are the ones taken after the item reaches the warehouse.
Two photo sets
Marketplace galleries are shot by the seller, often on a better sample than the one that ships. Warehouse QC photos are taken after oopbuy.com receives that parcel. Those are the pictures to argue with before you pay for international freight.
The OOPBuy spreadsheet can show either. Treat every image in a browse tile as a lead, not a verdict.
What to look at
- Stitching. Even seams, no loose thread piles, no gaps at stress points.
- Color. Compare with the listing under similar light. A warm phone photo can lie; a huge shift still matters.
- Marks and logos. Placement, spelling and edges. Blurry crops that hide the mark are a reason to ask for another angle.
- Tags and interior. If the listing promised a label and the album skips the collar, ask before you ship.
- Shoes. Sole glue, heel shape, insole print. One pretty lateral shot is not a QC set.
Red flags
Blur that hides texture, one photo for a whole garment, lighting so yellow you cannot judge color, and an album that does not match the size you ordered. You can usually request another shot inside the oopbuy.com ticket. Do that before the export clock starts.
Old QC is not current QC
A clean album from a 2025 note describes a different parcel. The next unit can differ. Wait for photos of the item with your order number.
